So what are the benefits of a novated lease for both the employee (the car driver) and the employer?  Of course there's no point entering into such an arrangement if there aren't real benefits for both parties.  Thankfully, in most cases the benefits of a novated lease are pretty clear.  From the employee's point of view as long as the tax savings outweigh the FBT payable there should be a clear benefit in financial tersm.  To make it easier to understand what the novated lease benefits are, we've put together a quick video which breaks it down for both the employer and employee.  Benefits regarding flexibility, liability and of course the savings that come with a novated lease (although this part is covered in greeater detail in another video which you can access below) and briefly covered.
